About

In this game you play as someone who has lost their legs in battle. You have a cursed shotgun that allows you to move through recoil force alone! Battle enemies, discover new areas, and buy upgrades!

Theme Interpretation

"When Physics Fails" I first started to think about this in a very broad and generic way, I thought that the only path I could go is a platformer with physics that change or have mechanics that changes the physics. I got the urge to make a fighting game and thought, "wait a minute" when physics fails could just be a crazy mechanic. I then thought what about an item that moves you instead of moving yourself. AND THEN! What about the idea that you could only move with recoil from a weapon. This is massively unrealistic and is an example of a failure in physics. There is no way moving with a gun is possible. So what I have constructed is a game about just that!
